Home Charging

Charging the Cadillac LYRIQ is as easy as plugging in any other modern device. At home, the Cadillac LYRIQ can recharge through a regular wall outlet with the portable charger, or owners can opt to upgrade to a Level II charger near where they park their vehicles. A Level II charging station requires professional installation. Our team can help you set up the installation and access any rebates or incentives for doing so.

Level I (120-volt): Plug into any standard outlet for slow but safe recharging speeds.

Level II (240-volt): Significantly reduce recharging session times by upgrading to a home charging station. LYRIQ can recharge at a home Level II (AC) charger with rates up to 19.2 kilowatts, or up to 52 miles of range per charging hour.

Public Charging

Additionally, you can recharge Cadillac EVs at public charging stations with either Level II or DC Fast Charging for added convenience and quick recharging on the go.

DC Fast Charging: The fastest available recharging speeds are available at public stations only, reducing recharging times to around 30 minutes.

Charging Times: DC fast charging for public charging rates of up to 190 kilowatts, or up to 76 miles of range in just 10 minutes

ULTIUM PERFORMANCE

Innovative Cadillac Ultium Batteries

When you shop for a new Cadillac EV, you get all the advantages an electric vehicle brings, thanks to Cadillac's innovative new Ultium batteries. This unique battery architecture allows a Cadillac EV from Crest Cadillac to exceed customer expectations - whether it's acceleration, range, or charging.

Ultium Batteries: Unrivaled Performance

Ultium batteries range from 50 to 200 kWh, enabling Cadillac vehicles to travel up to 400 miles or more on a full charge. Acceleration from zero to 60 mph occurs in as little as three seconds, with motor configurations offering front-, rear-, and all-wheel drive applications. So, no matter how you need your Cadillac EV to perform, an Ultium-powered Cadillac vehicle from Crest Cadillac delivers.

Plus, Ultium batteries offer Level 2 and DC fast charging. Most offer 400-volt battery packs and 200 kW fast-charging features. Larger vehicles will have 800-volt packs and provide 350 kW fast-charging capabilities. Go further between charges with an Ultium-powered vehicle.

GM Commitment to Ultium

These exciting new battery developments are here to stay. The future is electric, and GM is prepared. Here's what the future looks like with Ultium:

  • Lower battery costs. GM can spend less to develop its EV business by using its existing manufacturing facilities and properties, such as body and paint shops. Plus, by partnering with other leaders in the battery industry and licensing existing technology to others, GM can drive overall battery costs to under $100/kWh.
  • A variety of models and body styles. The modular approach to EV construction allows the Ultium battery to fit into almost any application, allowing cars, trucks, sports cars, and more to be easily feasible.
  • New, less-complex batteries. Internal-combustion vehicles use more than 500 different combinations throughout the Cadillac lineup - EVs offer just 19. With less complexity comes more reliability and a better overall customer experience.
  • Volume. Electric vehicles are on the rise, a trend that third-party forecasters expect to continue. United States EV volumes are expected to double from 2025 to 2030 to about 3 million units annually. Cadillac plans to be at the forefront.

Peace of Mind with Manufacturer-Backed EV Battery Warranty

One of the most common questions surrounding EVs is how long we can expect the powerful battery packs to last with regular use and charging cycles. While the full longevity is still unknown for most EV technology, Cadillac backs the battery pack in the LYRIQ and electric motor components for eight years or 100,000 miles. You can expect the battery packs in new EVs to last beyond 100,000 miles, well past the time most drivers keep their vehicles.
